A Penn High School freshman lost his life in a fatal Needles auto accident that happened on March 28, 2010 along US 95, somewhere north of Needles. The car accident took place at around 5 p.m.
The deceased, Nathan Douglas White, was on his way to Lake Havasu City along with his grandmother when a 20-year old man crossed the yellow lines of the highway and crashed into their rental car. Nathan was transported to University Medical Center in Las Vegas for surgery, where he succumbed to his injuries the same night. Nathan’s grandmother was also taken to a hospital and has now recovered.
Our office wishes to offer our heartfelt prayers and condolences to Nathan’s friends and family. We can understand how his grandparents must be feeling. Young drivers seem to be at times rather reckless while driving. But they have to realize that their one small mistake can cost someone their life! If you are driving on an undivided road or highway, please make sure that your vehicle stays on its’ lanes of traffic.
